By accessing or using the Zest platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
Zest is a building compliance monitoring platform that aggregates publicly available permit, violation, inspection, and recertification data from government portals. The platform provides dashboards, alerts, and reports to help property managers and building professionals track compliance status.
Zest is a monitoring and aggregation tool. It does not create, modify, or file any records with government agencies on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date.
You agree to use Zest only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others; to distribute malware or engage in any activity that could damage or impair the platform; or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
The Zest platform, including its design, features, and proprietary content, is owned by Zest and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The building compliance data displayed on the platform is sourced from public records and is not owned by Zest.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the platform, such as documents and notes. By uploading content, you grant Zest a limited license to store and display that content as part of the service.
Zest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the building compliance data displayed on the platform. This data is sourced from public government portals and may not reflect all records held at the municipal or county level. See our full Disclaimer for details.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zest and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on data displayed on the platform.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
